Q: Is it really possible to learn effective self defense skills in a four-hour seminar?

A: We can’t teach you all that you need to know about how to defend yourself in a four hour seminar. Fortunately, we don’t have to. You already possess all the physical skills you need in order to successfully defend yourself against most attacks.

In fact many people defend themselves from physical attack every day with no self defense training whatsoever. They do it with a combination of determination and physical skills that they already have.  Yelling, walking, running, reaching out a hand, pushing, pointing a finger, grabbing and squeezing, and kicking are all potential self defense techniques. A large part of physical self defense is using these basic body movements that you already know. Our job is not so much to show you how to defend yourself, but that you can defend yourself.
